DAV Enjoys Widespread Visibility at EAA Oshkosh 2008

The Disabled American Veterans Aviation Public Outreach Program enjoyed great visibility and success at this year’s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Prominently displayed in the warbird section, the DAV display stood proudly beside the B-25, Panchito throughout the week. Thousands of EAA guests stopped by to get a close-up look at the airplane and the DAV display that featured videos and information about DAV. Other highlights from the week included the Fourth Annual DAV hosted Warbird Picnic on Tuesday evening and a two and a half hour concert by Gary Sinise’s “Lt. Dan Band” at Theater in the Woods on Friday.
