The AirSupport Team draws on decades of combined experience and offers a wide range of services including preliminary consultation, site selection and evaluation, show planning and complete on-site management.
Prior to committing to creating an aviation event, AirSupport conducts a feasibility study. The study provides important information about site and sponsor availability, community opportunities, budgeting and return on investment. It can also address potential issues regarding crowd management, safety and security. In addition, AirSupport conducts a post-event analysis that assesses all outcomes of the event. This provides an after action plan that addresses areas of improvement and planning for future airshows.
Show Design
Airports are designed to provide efficient transportation services to the public. Extensive planning and management are required to meet this business need while converting the facility into an airshow venue that will host thousands of spectators. The layout and design of every aspect of the airshow are vital to the event’s success. A well-organized and comprehensive layout strategy impacts your show’s ability to provide quality customer service, sponsorship fulfillment and most importantly, safety. Site design determines where aircraft are positioned, how they move on the field, where emergency services are stationed, vendor and sponsor location and public parking. Addressing show design is key in creating a safe, successful and profitable airshow.
Air Operations
AirSupport provides planning for staging and movement of aircraft before, during and after the airshow. This includes airshow operations as well as a plan to accommodate commercial, military or other airport operations that may take place in conjunction with your show.meet this business need while converting the facility into an airshow venue that will host thousands of spectators. Performer Selection
AirSupport provides guidance in selecting performers and other industry professionals required to build a safe and entertaining airshow that meets your community’s goals and needs.
Military Demonstration and Static Display Aircraft Procurement
AirSupport specializes in recruitment and acquisition of military demonstration and static display aircraft. Beginning with filing necessary paperwork for military support, AirSupport can guide an airshow through the proper channels to best facilitate an event packed with cutting edge military aircraft.
Jet Team Support
AirSupport has a proven track record of creating airshow venues at which military jet teams can safely execute demonstrations and successfully accomplish recruiting missions. From ground support procurement to transportation, lodging, hospitality and publicity management, we are well versed in all aspects of jet team support. By putting this task in the hands of experts, airshows are sure to provide teams with a venue they will want to return to.
Aircraft Services and Support
AirSupport facilitates FBO relationships. We advise on special aircraft servicing needs, planning and management of aircraft fueling, smoke oil and indicated safety issues. In addition, AirSupport can supply dedicated "airshow experienced" professional flight line staff to manage all aircraft services or assist local airport personnel.
Crowd Management
Managing large crowds in a confined area is challenging. Safety around aircraft and quality customer service -- including access to food, drink, and a great view of the show – are equally important. Accommodations for Disabled Access and general public access to the show site while maintaining a high level of customer service must be considered. AirSupport provides planning for all aspects of crowd management.
Safety Managment and Security Planning
The single, most important goal of any airshow is to assure the safety of the attending public, performers, aircrews, volunteers and staff. Special consideration should be given to aircraft and performer security as well as public safety around the aircraft. AirSupport provides coordination and on-site management of all aspects of safety planning.
AirSupport security professionals work with your organization in coordinating with local, state and federal public safety agencies to develop and execute a security plan that is designed to meet your event’s requirements.
Emergency Support
AirSupport will assess and facilitate the availability of adequate emergency services and support for aircraft, airport and public safety. This includes availability and accessibility of local fire and law enforcement services.
Parking and Traffic
The first and last impression that the attending public has of any airshow is ease of arrival to and departure from the event. This demands careful planning on the use of primary and secondary roads, parking capacity and the availability of law enforcement and volunteers to help with traffic management. AirSupport provides planning and management services targeted to this crucial area.
Volunteer Management
A community that embraces and shows pride for an airshow is key to an event’s success. Civic clubs, youth groups, church organizations and anyone with a passion for aviation can and should be encouraged to participate as a volunteer. AirSupport advises on recruiting and organizing volunteers to help you produce an enjoyable and safe community event.
Sponsor and Vendor Relations
Food, beverage and souvenir sales represent a significant source of revenue for any event. AirSupport’s extensive experience in event management allows us to provide unique insight in selecting appropriate vendors for your event.
Airshow Based Marketing
AirSupport LLC has professional experience, industry in-sight and a knowledgeable, professional team to spearhead a successful airshow based outreach and marketing program. We offer a variety of promotional and marketing services tailored to showcase your organization’s product or mission. Prior to creating an aviation outreach program for an organization, AirSupport conducts an achievability study. The study provides important information about event selection and audience size, media opportunities, budgeting and return on investment. In addition, AirSupport conducts a post-event analysis that assesses all outcomes of the event. This provides an action plan that addresses areas of improvement and planning for future airshows.
Key elements such as venue selection and site location are the building blocks for a successful airshow based marketing program.
